Clinus heterodon, known commonly as the Westcoast klipfish in South Africa,[2] is a species of clinid in the genus Clinus.[3] It is a subtropical blenny found from Namibia to South Africa, in the southeastern Atlantic Ocean.[3] It was named by Achille Valenciennes in 1836,[4] and can reach a maximum length of 13 centimetres.[3] Blennies in this species feed off of invertebrates.[5]
